The boys were at it again Sunday 11th December 2005 !
Recently joined Westlakes ARC members Jack VK2TRF, and Dave VK2TDN, dedicated ATV exponents, have once again re-written the record books with what we believe is a VK and possibly a world record of 175Km in the ATV 13cm band betw The equipment used was as follows: Both TX comprises een VK2TAS and VK2TRF.	G1MFG 2.4Ghz 30mW exciters. These are then attenuated to 10mW The PA’s are ex wireless lan driver boards producing upwards of 20 watts from a 10mW input. They operate from 12v and draw around 11 amps. The dishes used at both ends were modified commercial wireless LAN antennas.
